Comment:GOOGLEDOG'S LAST GIFT My beautiful girl ended her life-journey with my family this February, a few days after Valentine's Day. We had some help at the end. Her passing was peaceful and beautiful, although I miss her deeply every day, and will continue to do so for all my days. Google had been fading for over a year, and both she and I fought as hard as we could, but a time came when I knew she had tried as much as she could, and was now fighting just for me. The time had come. We contacted a very special service called 'Bowwout' and veterinarian Liz, travelled across the country to be with us, and help Google to pass peacefully in my arms, at home in her own house and in her own bed. My wonderful friends were here with me, I was with Google, and Liz was with us all. Liz arrived and made friends with Google. She is calm, loving and very kind. Liz cared for Google, myself and my friends; and we were grateful to be in her hands. Liz spent over an hour with us, but time had stopped. The only thing that existed was the love and peace in the room. Google was all that mattered. She had some sedation and there was plenty of time for tea and hugs and whispered secrets, as the sedation settled in, helping Google to be relaxed and comfortable during the final assist. I was stroking Google's ears as always and explaining how she was going to look after Dad until I came back for her. I told her I'd leave her collar on, so he could read her name. But Google told me she wouldn't need it for Dad to know her. Instead, as she slipped away, she told me to keep her lovely pink collar. She told me to fix my sore hip, and when I'm able to go back in the mountains, to go and rescue another girl to take with me, and mind me, in her name. My parting gift from my lovely girl is the knowledge that at some time in the future, I will be fit again. I will be back out in the country, swimming and hiking with Google2, like we were together all those years ago. My parting gift from Liz arrived by post a week later. She sent me a beautiful card with a ceramic GoogleDog paw print impression and a sachet of 'Forget-Me-Not' flower seeds to scatter in her memory. Thank you to Liz who made our last few hours a beautiful thing. Thank you to my wonderful friends who supported us so bravely and kindly. Thank you to Dad who will mind her now, and Mum who will meet her for the first time. And thank you GoogleDog for being the best dog, friend, protector, carer and accomplice that a girl could ever possibly hope for. |

Comment:We can’t express enough how deeply grateful we are for the Bowwout service, which allowed our sweet Sadie to pass peacefully in the comfort of her own home, surrounded by those who loved her most. Having Sadie’s last moments in a familiar, peaceful environment, with her companion Douglas by her side, made an incredibly difficult time a little easier. Liz, who came to us on such short notice, was absolutely amazing. She was calm, compassionate and deeply supportive throughout the entire process. Her kindness and care provided us with much needed comfort. Liz explained everything that would happen in such a thoughtful and gentle manner, giving us ample time to say our goodbyes and tell Sadie how much she is loved. It’s difficult to describe how much this service meant to us. The ability to let Sadie go with dignity, surrounded by family, is something we will always treasure. Thank you Liz for your support, and thank you for offering such a compassionate and beautiful way for pets to pass in the way they deserve. We cannot praise Liz and this service highly enough. The memory of this peaceful, loving goodbye will stay with us forever. |

Comment:With all my heart I wish to thank Liz for the wonderful service she offers in allowing our beloved pets to die peacefully and gently in their own home with those that love them and that they love in return. There was no hurry, no concept of time, nothing but peace and ease. When it comes to my own turn, I hope I can follow my adored pet in the same way. Thank you once again for your gentleness & kindness to Bertie. |

Comment:I just want to thank you Liz for helping me and my family with the passing of our beloved Pepsi Boy. Because of you my Boy got to pass away so peacefully in my arms while I kissed him and whispered to him how much he was loved. It is one of the memories that gives me some peace in a heartbreaking situation. I cannot thank you enough for how caring you were to not just Pepsi Max but to all of us who were just devastated. It is such a loving and heartfelt service you do for our beloved pets when they need help the most and I cannot thank you enough. -Abby |

Misty is not great with vets but she had no issues with liz at all . She was fantastic with misty, very calm . It must be very difficult because liz has to deal with the pet and also the family. The care and compassion she gave us was amazing. Misty passed very peacefully and because of that I was able to accept her passing with a bit more ease. I can highly recommend bowwout. Your pet is at home, in their own bed and they just drift off to sleep. It's the final act of kindness we can give them. Thank you liz, I will be forever grateful to you for giving misty a beautiful send off xxx Name: Gillian Wyatt Date: 14 Dec 2024 13:13:44 GMT Comment:My beautiful Dougal, was put to sleep by the wonderful Liz. Dougal was really scared of anyone outside the family, but when Liz came to see him and introduced herself to him, he wagged his tail. I have never seen him do that before with anyone, so I knew from the start that he was in safe hands. I will never be able to thank Liz enough for her kindness, gentleness and empathy. She made an awful situation a lot easier. My only wish was that I knew Liz years ago when my other dogs passed, so that they did not have the stress of going to the vet. Dougal basically went to sleep in his favourite spot. Thank you so much Liz. Gillian Wyatt, Dec 2024 |

Comment:I just want to thank you Liz for your kindness & sensitivity, during what was an extremely heartbreaking time in our lives.💔 To have to let go of our beautiful gentle giant so early in his life was the hardest but necessary decision we had to make. To have you come to the house, & help him slip away peacefully, with us hugging him & talking to him, made the whole process bearable. He used get so stressed out when he had to go to the vets, so not having to put him through that stress in his final moments was such a relief. You were wonderful with him and us. I would certainly suggest to others, to use your services, if they ever have to make that tough decision on behalf of their beloved pet. Thank you for your help and kind words. |

Comment:I really cannot thank Liz enough. Roxy was my beloved companion for 15 years. Roxy really hated going to the vet and even when getting her monthly injection for arthritis our local vet would have to come out to the car to give it to her as she refused to go in. The thoughts of her final hours being stressful going to the vet really upset me, so I was so relieved when my friend recommended Liz'service. From the first phone call to Liz I felt re assured. Liz was professional, empathetic and compassionate and goes above and beyond. I will be forever grateful to Liz for providing a peaceful, stress free and dignified ending for Roxy in the comfort of her own home. | ||

Comment:I can not praise this service highly enough. Liz came to our assistance from a long distance and at short notice. Her kindness, understanding and compassion was so comforting and made what was a traumatic heartbreaking situation that little bit easier. She was so kind to our beautiful Saffy. Our girl gently went to sleep with dignity, comfortable in her own home surrounded by love thanks to Liz. Nobody wants to face letting their beloved family member go but the support Liz gave and the professional compassionate service she provided made the process so much more bearable. We will be eternally grateful to her and cant recommend this lady highly enough. Thankyou Liz. Christina, John & Saffy Dublin |

I cannot thank Liz enough for the wonderful service she provided. We knew we had to say goodbye to our little Alice for a few months and the thought of bringing her, on her last days, scared into a Vet was too much to think about. I wanted her last moments to be at home, happy and as normal as it could be.
I found Liz to be very professional and called us a few times in the weeks leading up to the day to explain the process and to put us at ease. On the day itself Liz was caring and supportive from start to finish, talking and petting Alice throughout the procedure. It really was a blessing finding out about her service and I could not recommend it enough to any other dog lover in a similar position. She really went above and beyond for us and I will be forever grateful for that.

We are so grateful to Liz for helping us part company with our beloved Scooby at the end of a long and loving life. It would have been heart-breaking to part with him in any other way than in the warmth and comfort of the home he has always known, surrounded by care and love. Scooby greeted Liz with affection and was relaxed and happy in his last moments.
Liz eased Scooby – and us – over that final barrier in the most caring and professional manner. We cannot express how much that meant to us at a very difficult time. It’s never going to be easy to part ways with the best of friends. But to do so in a comfortable and familiar space is the best parting you can give to a life-long companion.
We cannot recommend Liz highly enough to any devoted dog owner in a similar position.
